JAMMU, Aug 29: BSNL Employees Union (BSNLEU), a non-executive union in BSNL, held annual elections to elect office bearers for Telecom district Jammu.
The elections were held under the chairmanship of district president/ J&K Circle president of BSNLEU, Narain Singh Manhas and under overall supervision of PN Bhat, Sub-Divisional Engineer (NIB) Gandhinagar, Zahoor Ahmed Bhat, treasurer, BSNLEU, J&K Circle, Nazir Ahmed Reshi, member, BSNLEU, J&K Circle and MK Kaul, district secretary, CGMT office, who were appointed as observers.
The newly elected office bearers include Ramesh Chander Sharma as president, NS Manhas, Narinder Singh, Nisha Samyal and Ajeet Singh Raina as vice presidents, Manjeet Singh Reen as district secretary, Amarjeet Singh, Harjeet Kaur, Bhagwat Prashad and Bodhraj as assistant district secretaries, Ramesh Lal as district treasurer, Rajinder Singh Jamwal as assistant treasurer while SK Moza, Avinash Kaur, Narinder Singh Manhas, Jai Deep Gandhi, Mohan Lal, Balwinder Singh and JP Singh as organizing secretaries.
