JAMMU, Aug 27: Extending support to the demand of Joint Action Committee (JAC), Nowshera, for providing tehsil status to Ladoka and district status to Nowshera, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has urged upon the State Government to accede to the just and genuine demand of the JAC.
Addressing a workers’ meet at party’s headquarters, BSP State president, Tulsi Dass Langeh said while analyzing the geographical position of the area of Nowshera Assembly Segment, it is gathered that the demand of JAC is quite just and genuine, as the people of the border areas have to travel 50 to 60 km for attending their revenue related work at Nowshera.
Moreover, for State Subject and other district level work, the people have to travel 125 to 150 km and their precious time goes waste in travelling, he said and added that in the light of above facts stressed upon the Government to fulfill the genuine demands of JAC Nowshera and put a halt to its (JAC’s) hunger strike.
