BSP submits memorandum to Addl DC

REASI, June 20: As a part of on going protest of Bahujan Samaj Party against the electricity & water crisis in the State, a delegation of Bahujan Samaj Party district Reasi led by the State general secretary of the party Rakesh Wazir submitted a memorandum to Additional Deputy Commissioner Reasi Rajinder Singh Tara, today.
Wazir stated that it was a matter of serious concern that Government of J&K has failed miserably to provide basic need of the people i.e water & electricity in these hard days of hot summer season and people at every nook and corner of the State are protesting for want of electric supply and water and there are cuts of power supply from 16 to 20 hours a day and whatever remaining 4 to 8 hours power supply people are getting is fluctuating resulting into damages to electric goods.
The delegation among others was accompanied by district president Reasi, Er Shivan Langeh, Reasi Assembly constituency candidate Karan Singh, Assembly president Dhani Ram, Bittu Sarpanch, Karuna Nidhi Naib Serpanch and Romesh Kumar.
