JAMMU, Oct 14: Bharat Tibet Sangh (BTS) here today organised a meeting under the chairmanship of its Prabhari for Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, Kuldeep Sharma.
Different issues of the society were discussed in the meeting among which the issue of unemployment dominated.
Speakers in the meeting said that employment schemes of PM Modi are not reaching to all the deserving people and demanded single window facility to implement the employment schemes properly in Jammu and Kashmir UT.
Another issue discussed in the meeting was that of old age pension and the BTS members expressed concern over elders repeatedly visiting offices of Social Welfare Department for pension.
They demanded that the facility should be made like the one by which Aadhar Cards and health cards were made available so that the elderly people should not suffer.
BTS members also demanded that Accountability Commission type organisation should be there to tackle the menace of corruption in J&K.
Ashwani Sharma, V.K Kattal, Vivek Singhal, Manjri Singh, women wing president of BTS and others were also present in the meeting.
