Bullet team wins Kingston tourney

JAMMU, Mar 2: Bullet team edged past Safran Cricket Club to claim victory in the Kingston Tournament final at Country Cricket Stadium, here today.
Safran Cricket Club won the toss and opted to bat but struggled, finishing with a total of 112 runs. Nihal Khajuria and Rohit Sharma top-scored with 33 runs each. Bullet Team’s bowlers were dominant, with Deepak Kaul taking three wickets and Vinay and Vikram each grabbing two.
In response, Bullet team had a shaky start but Vikram Singh’s match-winning knock of 62 runs, supported by Vinay’s 14 runs, helped them chase down the target in 18 overs. Safran’s bowlers, led by Lakshay Sharma’s four-wicket haul, put up a fight but couldn’t prevent the defeat. In the tournament, Nihal Khajuria was named Best Batsman, Sarthak Khoda won Best Bowler and Agastya Sharma was awarded Best fielder. The event was organized by Mahadev CC under Vikrant Sharma’s leadership.
