JAMMU, Aug 10: A burn victim succumbed to her injuries during treatment at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) today.
As per police sources, Kamaljeet Kour (30), wife of Baldev Singh, a resident of Kotli Arjun Singh, RS Pura received burn injuries due to gas leakage at her parental house yesterday.
She was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where she failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to her burn injuries.
The body has been handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
