Burning public issues raised by PRIs in Dudu Admn camp

JAMMU, Oct 6: Villagers from remote Dudu Sub Division raised several burning issues of the area, specially shortage of staff in schools and hospitals, poor condition of roads and drinking water during a grievance redressal camp convened by SDM Dudu today.
A public grievances camp was held at Panchayat Chaaper- A, wherein the SDM Dudu, Kulraj Singh reached with officers of all the departments in and resolved several issues on the spot. Tehsildar, Paramdeep Singh and BDO Latti, Zahan Zaib besides local PRI members were also present on the occasion.
Different grievances pertaining to different departments specially poor quality work on the ongoing Bandhole to Parla Chapper Road project, delay of works under JJM Scheme, shortage of staff in hospitals/dispensaries and Schools, long power curtailment, told age pension issues were raised during the camp by the local villagers.
In response to public damands, SDM directed the ZEO Dudu to detach all the illegal attachments of teachers to various schools of Zone Dudu. AEE/AE and JE of PMGSY department were directed to ensure the quality work on Bandhloe to Parla Chapper road. PHE staff was directed to install water tap connection at Govt High School, Parla Chapper and ensure regular and adequate water supply to the school and other areas at an earliest. Directions were also issued to different departments of Dudu Sub Division to redress the public grievances at an earliest.
