UDHAMPUR, Apr 3: Locals and shopkeepers of New Bus Stand in Udhampur, held a strong protest against district administration and Udhampur Municipal Committee (UMC) for their failure in providing basic facilities at the Bus Stand.
The protesting people raised slogans against the Municipal Committee and Government authorities. They alleged that because of no facilities like Toilets, Water, Lighting etc, by the Udhampur Municipal Committee (UMC), the situation was like hell in the bus stand, which was inaugurated on August 20, 2015 by Jeet Lal Gupta, then Director Urban Local Bodies Jammu.
The protest demonstration was addressed by Kartar Singh, Ramesh Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Vinay, Faqir Ahmed, Sanjay Kumar, Narain Chand and others.
