Jammu, Nov 22: Bharat Vikas Parishad Swami Vivekanand Branch Gandhi Nagar organized a quiz competition “Bharat Ko Jano” at Luthra Academy School Gandhi Nagar, Jammu in which about 10 schools of the locality participated.
Dr Subash Gupta, Retd. Principal Govt. Medical College was the chief guest on the occasion while Pritpal Singh Principal of the School was the guest of the honour.
Ved Parkash Gupta president of the branch welcomed the guests. Amita Sharma convener spoke about the rules and regulations of the quiz competition.
Dr Santosh Gupta National Convener spoke about the activities of the Bharat Vikas Parishad.
Dogra Hr Secondary Shastri Nagar, Jammu claimed first position in Junior category, while Luthra Academy School Last Morh Gandhi Nagar, Jammu and S D Tara Puri High School Gandhi Nagar, Jammu bagged 2nd and third position respectively.
In senior category, S D Tara Puri High School Gandhi Nagar, Jammu bagged first place, while 2nd and third spots were claimed by Poplular Model Academy Nanak Nagar, Jammu and Shiksha Niketan High School Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
The programme was conducted by Arun Sharma State president BVP. Other prominent members presents are S N Sharma, Vijay Sharma, V K Phoa, D D Gupta, M LVaid, M L Gupta, Surinder Gupta.
