Jammu, May 29: A Yoga camp was organised in the Commissionerate of Income Tax by Bhartiya Yoga Sansthan.
The Commissioner of Income Tax, J&K Circle A. K. Thatai started the session by inviting the representatives of Bhartiya Yoga Sansthan, Jammu & Kashmir on the stage to deliver their lectures on the importance of Yoga in our day to day life.
Mahavir Gupta, Patron of the Bhartiya Yoga Sansthan, while speaking on the occasion said that Yoga is the best source to get relief from the mental stress and strain and to create an external peaceful environment but by cultivating internal peace consciousness through mental techniques, through value and ethical education and through yoga and meditation.
He stressed that this is the only way to give to the people a better way of living and to have their constructive services to make the world better.
His lecture was associated with some live performance of Yoga Aasans which was a thrilling experience for the employees of the Department. Karan Singh, Sushma Rani and other members of the Bhartiya Yoga Sansthan were also present on the occasion.

Kakar, Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Range-1, Jammu, Rakesh Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Range-2, Jammu and Mini Chandran U., Dy. Commissioner of Income Tax (HQ), Jammu also spoke on the occasion.
