JAMMU, July 31: The Cambridge International School, Purkhoo Camp has organized a function here today with full zeal, zest and enthusiasm.
This ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly office bearers. Er. Vidhi S. Singh, Chairman, Cambridge International School was the chief guest on this occasion while Shivdev Singh Jamwal, Vice-Chairman, Cambridge International School and Er. Renu Bangroo, Managing Director, Cambridge International School were among the other guests present on the occasion.
Rajni Malhotra, Vice-Principal, CIS, presented a sapling to the esteemed guests followed by the captivating and radiant welcome note by the Senior Coordinator, Pooja Chib.
The ceremony was carried forward with lighting of the lamp by the guests after that followed a crisp march by the Council members.  The head boy, Diviyam Sudan and head girl Garima Bhat were sworn in. Nilesh Sharma was appointed as sports captain and Dharna Bhat was appointed as sports captain.
The investiture ceremony was followed by an oath-taking by vice principal, Rajni Malhotra where the newly appointed cadets took an oath of being “Ever Loyal” and vowed to discharge their duties to the best of their ability and the trust bestowed upon them.
The head boy and head girl affirmed, in their speeches their mission and pledged to keep the flag of the school flying high. The council members promised to carry in their hearts, the values that they have imbibed over the years. They also swore to do their duties to the best of their abilities.
Er. Renu Bangroo, Managing Director advised the students to inculcate the values of punctuality, dedication, discipline and determination as they are the torch bearers of tomorrow. She advised the office bearers to work with a spirit of unity in the interest of students at large.
