Camp for needy children under SSA held

JAMMU, Apr 26: A programme regarding fitment/distribution camp for children with special needs was organized at Government Higher Secondary School Samba (Boys) by Education Department district Samba under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), today.
On the occasion, Principal DIET & Incharge CEO  Jail Kumar was the chief guest. A team of ALIMCO Kanpur comprising of two members (a doctor & technician) were present in the camp for the fitment of the appliances to the needy children.
A total of 42 children of different zones were benefitted by the camp (6 tricycle, 3 wheel chairs, 13 callipers, 19 hearing aids & 1 MR Kit).
While addressing the camp CEO Samba, focused on the special facilities given to the physically challenged children by the Government. He also stressed upon the students and their parents to send them in the school and get education for better future.
In the camp Chief Education Officer Samba,  Jail Kumar and District Education Planning Officer  Dhanter Singh,  Neelam Gandotra (Principal HSS Samba Boys) and  Lalit Kumar EMIS Co-ordinator were also present.
