JAMMU, July 30: International Daily Rising School (IDRS) hosted CBSE capacity building programme on ‘Happy Classrooms’ in their campus wherein over 70 participants from various CBSE Schools across Jammu participated.
It was the first offline CBSE programme after a gap of around two and a half years. The administration of International Daily Rising School led by Supinder Kaur (Chairperson) welcomed the resource persons including Arindhm Roy Choudhary Principal GD Goenka School Jammu.
Dr Atul Hans Director Principal of the School said that as per the NEP 2020 envisages that by 2025 at least 50 percent of the learners shall have vocational exposure through school and higher education. To achieve that objective these kinds of innovative training programs are very much required.
The resource person Arindam Roy Choudhury who has been into teaching for the last 26 years, has 16 years experience as Principal. He was the founder of Kalpavruksha Model School Belgaum Karnataka.
Schools that participated in the programme were KC International School Akhnoor road, MV International School, International Daily Rising School Chowadi Sainik Colony Jammu, Jammu Sanskriti School, Jodhamal Public School, APS Ratnuchak, APS Samba, Vishwa Bharti Senior Secondary School, International Delhi Public School Sunjwan Jammu, DNB Vidya Mandir Amarvilla, Kartar Public School Barnoti Kathua, SNS Vidya Mandir Camp road Talab Tillo Jammu, RMG International School Jandial Zone Balwal, Rich Harvest School Bari Brahmana, Heritage School Sainik Colony Jammu, MVM Public School Jammu, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Amphalla, Army School Bari Brahmana and Carmel Convent School Kunjwani.
The program was subdivided into three sessions, which gave an insight into how a positive educator can in turn make an enriching institution which is full of enthusiasm and positive hope. The educators were briefed about tools to make schools a happier place where everyone is celebrated and encouraged in order to achieve desired outcomes.
The resource person and participants were felicitated by the management of the host School.
