JAMMU, Dec 30: A Honda City car plunged into a canal at Trikuta Nagar area of city outskirts this morning but it was a miraculous escape for the car driver, who even didn’t get a bruise in the mishap.
According to a police spokesperson, a Honda City car bearing registration No JK02AM-4645 fell into a roadside canal, Trikuta Nagar at about 10 am when its driver failed to control the speeding vehicle while negotiating a turn. The car that was in high speed first hit an electric pole and then plunged into the canal.
However, the driver of the car identified as Abhivandan Gupta son of Tilak Raj Gupta of Channi Himmat escaped unhurt in the mishap.
A case of negligent driving has been registered against the car driver at police station Trikuta Nagar.
