JAMMU, Mar 23: Career Abacus, a leading Abacus teaching institution organized prize distribution ceremony of Speed Maths Competition in the auditorium of Government Polytechnic College, Jammu.
The aim of the competition was to bring forth the talent of the students undergoing Abacus Training. On the occasion, an impressive and colourful function was organized by the Institute in which Dr Naveen Anand (Dean Academic Affairs, Cluster University) was the chief guest. Dr Arun Bangotra (Principal, Polytechnic College) and Prof Manhas (University of Jammu) were the guests of honour.
The guests were accorded warm reception by the founder director of the Institute Arvind Sharma, franchisee of all centres and staff members. The function started with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the chief guest and other guests. Himani Sharma, welcomed the guests.
Parents were informed that the awarding of prizes was in accordance to the guidelines of GAJSMA (Global Association of Japanese Soroban and Mental Arithmetic). They were informed that Speed Maths Competition is held only once a year and many other competitions are held during the year.
The 1st prize was won by Reyanshveer Singh and Saisha Malhotra while the 2nd prize was bagged by Adhyav Kushan, Anhad Mahajan, Kairav Singh, Mansha Choudhary, Medansh Choudhary and Samreen Kour.
The function ended with the vote of thanks by Aditri Sharma.
