CAREER ABACUS opens new centre at Rehari

JAMMU, Nov 27: CAREER ABACUS, a leading Abacus Teaching Institute opened its new Centre at Rehari Colony, here today.
Surinder Choudhary, Dy SP J&K Police was the chief guest, while Shukla Gupta was the guest of honour.
Mitashini Koul, a student of the Institute welcomed the chief guest and other distinguished guests on the occasion.
On this occasion a Painting Competition was organized in which over 100 students of different schools participated.  Prizes were distributed among the winners of various categories. In between the function a demo of little kids was conducted  which left the audience spell bound with the speed and accuracy of the kids.
Vote of thanks was presented by Sohiela Sharma.
Arvind Sharma, Director of the Institute explained the benefits of ABACUS to the audience and stressed upon the need to teach this skill to all the students in the age group of 5 to 13 years. He said that ABACUS not only helps in improving the arithmatical skills but it improves the memory, listening skills, imagination, creativity , self reliance and above all self confidence of the students.
The results of various groups:
Group A : 1st Prize went to Sakshi of class 8th , KV Sunjwan,  2nd Prize was bagged by Ritvik Gupta of    8th, Army School, Jammu Cantt, 3rd Prize was claimed by Mehak Gupta of9th, BSF Sr Sec School, while consolation    prizes went to Vidushi Gupta of  9th, Shangrilla Public School and Pranav Sharma of  8th, Summer Field School, Jammu
Group B : 1st Prize was bagged by Rishika Gupta of 5th, Presentation Convent School, Jammu,  2nd Prize    went to Samridhi Mahajan    of 6th, BSF Sr Secondary School, 3rd Prize was claimed by Ayush Gupta of 5th, KC Public School, Jammu, while the consolation prize went to Trishna Sethi of 5th, DPS, Jammu and Vaibhav Sawhney of 6th, BSF Sr Secondary School, Jammu.
Group C : 1st prize was claimed by Kriti Chadha of 2nd, Presentation Convent School, 2nd prize was won by Nidanshi Billowria of 4th, Shangrilla Public School. 3rd prize went to Aakarshan Mahajan of 2nd, Summer Field School  Jammu, while consolation prizes were bagged by Saisha Sharma of 4th, Shangrilla Public School, Vanshika Jamwal of    3rd, Jodhamal Public School and Pranav Chadha of 3rd, KC International School, Jammu.
