JAMMU, Aug 29: Carmel Convent High School organized the “Carmel Quest 2014” in their school premises on the topic “Initiate Quest for knowledge”, today.
About 12 neighbouring school participated in the Quest. The Quiz moderator of the school Anita Rampal kept the participants alert and vibrant through her scholarly questions. Besides the two witty characters Laurel and Hardy with their wit, filled in the gaps to keep the audience enthralled.
The participants enthusiastically attempted the questionnaire, desiring to grab the covetous rolling trophy.
At the end, the Host team comfortably won the title for the second consecutive year. Thus retaining the trophy in the school . The Heritage Public School Team was adjudged the first runner up and Presentation Convent School, the second runner up.
The chief guest for the occasion S K Panda, Asst. Prof Department of Education, Jammu University appreciated the initiative of the school and the contribution of the participants. While Maria Suzette A.C, the Principal expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the participants and their Principals for responding positively and commented on their performance.
The curtains of the function were drawn with the vote of thanks proposed by Heena Bhardwaj, Asst. school pupil leader.
