JAMMU, Aug 11: Department of Youth Services and Sports Zone Gandhi Nagar today organised Carrom tournament at Government High School Digiana under the chairmanship of Zonal Physical Education Officer Gandhi Nagar Chander Kanta, here.
The tournament was organised on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Anshul Garg wherein Charanjeet Singh Committee Member Ward 56 was the chief guest, whereas Satpal Kumar was guest of honour who declared open the tournament in presence of Incharge Headmaster of the host School, Devinder Kour.
Shubam Kumar of Government High School Digiana and Akshay Singh of Government High School Kaluchak shared 1st position, whereas Yasser Khan of Government High School Pull Tawi secured 2nd position and Vishnu Ahirwar of Government High School Digiana remained 3rd.
The matches were officiated by Jatinder Kour (PEM), Satvir Kour (PEM), Shamo Devi (PET), Shafali (PET) and Ashima Mahajan (REK).
