NEW DELHI, Oct 10: Cashew rose by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today on increased buying by retailers and stockists to meet rising demand from bulk consumers.
Further, tight stocks following fall in supplies from growing regions supported the uptrend.
Cashew kernel No 180, No 210, No 240 and No 320 rose by Rs 5 each to conclude at Rs 815-845, Rs 715-745 Rs 645-655 and Rs 595-625 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said increased buying by retailers and stockists against restricted supplies from growing belts mainly pushed up cashew prices.

Almond (California) Rs 23,800, Almond (Gurbandi-new) Rs 10,800-11,300; Almond (Girdhi) Rs 7,300-7,500; Abjosh Afghani Rs 15,000-20,000.
