CB produces charge sheet against man for duping woman

JAMMU, Dec 30: Crime Branch Jammu (CBJ) produced charge-sheet against a man for duping and cheating the lady of Rs 10,95,000.
As per official spokesman, CBJ produced charge-sheet against accused Sheikh Amir Mushtaq, son of Sheikh Mushtaq of Boniyar Baramulla, Kashmir in a case registered under FIR Number 18/19 under section 420 RPC with Police Station Crime Branch, Jammu for duping of Rs 10,95,000 from the complainant fraudulently for construction and other expenses of a Cattle Feed factory, thus causing wrongful loss to the complainant and wrongful gain for himself.
A written complaint was lodged by Rupinder Chahal alias Rup Chahal, daughter of Nirmal Singh Chahal of Tilak Nagar New Delhi, alleging therein that she started working for education consultancy in Kashmir few years back and the complainant came in contact with number of people who approached for admissions abroad and similarly the accused namely Sheikh Amir Mushtaq came in touch with her who told her that due to his political affiliation with congress party in the valley, he will help her to boost business in the valley and convinced her that he is going to set up a cattle feed factory in Baramulla, Kashmir in which she should be his business partner. Then he started asking her (complainant) for money for the construction of the factory and other expenses etc. The complainant paid money approximately Rs 10-11 lakh from her business account (Airup Consultants Private Limited, Kotak Bank) to the said accused for factory purpose.
The spokesman informed that taking cognizance into the matter, Crime Branch Jammu registered a criminal case into the matter. During the investigation documentary and oral evidence were collected and charges of cheating and duping of the complainant of hard earned money by the accused with criminal conspiracy have been established, he added.
The charge-sheet was produced in the Court of 13 Finance Court, Jammu today against the accused.
