JAMMU, May 30: Chander Bhaga High School (Akhnoor) held its investiture ceremony in the school premises, today.
The chief guest of the ceremony was Deputy Chief Education Officer, Suraj Dev Singh Rathod. The other dignitaries present on the function were Zonal Education Officer, Madan Lal Sharma, Zonal Physical Education Officers, Sher Singh and Chander Bhaga High School management ceremony was attended by Raman Gupta.
Deputy Chief Education Officer, Suraj Dev Singh Rathod along with other dignitaries presented the badges to the newly elected head boy and head girl of the school.
Gourav Kumar and Meenakshi Sharma were announced as head boy and head girl of the school. Other students elected were Muskaan Chib and Vishal as captain and vice captain from Darwin House. Saras Sharma and Siya as captain and vice captain from Edision House. Jayant Kumar and Vishal as captain and vice captain from Newton House. Rahul and Rimple Sharma as captain and vice-captain from C V Raman House.
Speaking on the occasion, Suraj Dev Singh advised the students to uphold moral values and encouraged students for knowledge based studies.
