NEW DELHI: The government today clarified that the CBI did not raid the office of  Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, as has been claimed by him, but that of his Chief Secretary. ”The office of the Delhi Chief Minister has not been raided. The CBI raid has nothing to do with the Delhi Chief Minister or to the tenure of the Chief Minister.

”The raid has been done on the office of an official in the Chief Minister’s Office,” Mr Jaitley said in response to the issue raised by Mr Derek O’Brien of the All India Trinamool Congress. Mr Jaitley said the raids on the Chief Secretary’s office pertain to corruption cases he was involved in before assuming the office. (AGENCIES)
