CCC Delhi defeats KCC Jagti, clinches KPCL-IV Cup

JAMMU, Oct 13: Chinar Cricket Club (CCC), Delhi thrashed Kaunsarnag Cricket Club (KCC), Jagti by 6 wickets and clinched the title trophy of Kashmiri Pandit Cricket League (KPCL)-IV at Gurgoan.
Batting first, KCC scored 129 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted overs. Chander Pandit and Ajay Bhat made 61 and 44 runs respectively.
Aman Zutshi from CCL claimed 3 wickets.
In reply, CCC chased the target for the loss of just 4 wickets. Aman Zutshi and Ajay Dhar scored 34 and 32 runs respectively.
On the valedictory function, Chairman, Kashmiri Medical Emergency and Charitable Trust (KMECT) Sq Ldr BL Sadhu was the chief guest, who presented cash prizes to the winning and runner-up teams besides others for their outstanding performances. Aman Zutshi of CCC, Delhi was declared as man of the match for his all-round performance in the final match and was presented with a printer and cash prize. Best Batsman prize was given to Nikhil Raina of Paras Cricket Club, Best Bowler of the tournament award went to Sahil Dhar of KCC, Jagti, Best Fielder award was presented to Pt Deepak of KCC Jagti, Best Wicket-Keeper award was presented to Pt Chander Pandita of KCC jagti, upcoming KP Player award was given to Pt. Nikhil Raina of Paras Cricket Club, upcoming player of the tournament award was presented to Pt Susheel Pandita of  KCC Jagti.
In the tournament, KP teams from Jammu, Punjab, Chandigarh, Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Delhi and Gurgaon participated.
The fourth edition of this tournament was held at Gurgaon with active support of all members from Kashyap Kashmir Sabha (KKS), Gurgaon.
Meanwhile, the host team from Gurgaon along with members of KKS held a special cultural evening for the guest teams, in which singers of community including Dalip Langoo and Gaash Tarukh Vansh Pandita, Ritika Raina, Anubhav Salman, Aryaman Kaul, Anoushka Bhat, Payal (Sheen) Thusu performed.
The members of KKS including Romesh Pandita, Mahesh Giri, Sunil Bhan, Sunil Koul, AK Dass, BL Kaul, Mithlesh Labroo, Kuldeep Koul, Vijay Thussu, Pankaj Dhar, Deepak Jad, Pt Virin Dhar, Pt Vinod Koul, Aryan Ramesh, Pt Kiran Kotru, Pt Roop ji Raina, Pt Dinesh Pandita and others were present on the occasion.
