CEC meets Vice Chairman Delhi Development Authority

KARGIL, Jan 19: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor Kargil Feroz Ahmed Khan held a meeting with the Vice Chairman Delhi Development Authority (DDA) Tarun Kapoor to discuss various issues regarding the allotment of land for construction of Kargil Sarai at Dwarka, New Delhi.
Commissioner Land Disposal DDA Subu R, Project Director Kargil Development Authority (KDA), Kacho Ahmad Khan besides other concerned officers attended the meeting.
It was decided in the meeting that balance amount of Rs 1,95,88,400 earmarked during the year 2018-2019 for the purchase of land for Kargil Sarai will be deposited by the LAHDC, Kargil to DDA in near future.
The meeting was informed that an amount of Rs 18,09,980 has already been paid by the LAHDC, Kargil to the DDA before.
Later the CEC along with the officers of DDA visited the identified site for construction of Kargil Sarai and urged upon them to complete the formalities for possession of the land by LAHDC, Kargil by February this year.
Feroz Khan said that the LAHDC Kargil will arrange funds for construction of the Sarai at New Delhi once the land is formally allotted.
The CEC expressed hope that the coming up of the Kargil Sarai at Delhi will provide great relief to the students, patients and pilgrims from the district visiting the national capital.
