LEH, Feb 9: CEC, LAHDC, Leh, Rigzin Spalbar today expressed deep anguish and dismay in a meeting with the Principal Secretary, Planning and Development, B.R Sharma over the unjust delay in releasing the committed money to Council to clear up the liabilities of the 33rd Kalachakra held in Leh in July 2014.
Spalbar expressed his agitated mood in light of the commitment given by the State Government to sanction and release the required fund at the earliest stating that the successful holding of the Kalachakra in Leh was a matter of pride not just for the Ladakhis but for the entire State.
CEC, urged Mr. Sharma to consider the graveness of the issue as the stakeholders who have given their money for this noble cause are at great loss and suffering because of non-payment of the money for the liabilities they incurred in successfully organizing the Kalachakra. He strongly demanded for the early release of the committed money without further delay and excuses.
Mr. Sharma reassured Spalbar about the release of the demanded money stating that it’s taking time in procedural works.
