JAMMU, June 23: Sarang Rai, one of the top 10 contestants of Dance India Dance (DID) Season 6 (a ZEE TV dance reality show) conducted two-day dance workshop in commercial Hip Hop and Bollywood Style in Modern Montessori International (MMI) Preschool, Jammu.
The workshop was organized by Funk it Up Dance Academy. The children with age group from two years onwards participated in the dance workshop.
During the workshop, celebrity dancer, Sarang Rai, who got famous from DID Season 6, taught the children different forms of dance styles like Rumba, Salsa, Samba, Tango, etc. The children also took keen interest in the workshop and danced with fully energy and enthusiasm.
While speaking on the occasion, Sarang Rai said that there is immense dance talent in Jammu and he is there to explore that talent. He said that his next dance workshop will be in Udhampur from June 26.
Director of the Funk it Up Academy, Sukhwinder Singh Jaral, who is associated with MMI Preschool, Jammu since 2018, while elaborating on further plans of the Academy, said that they are contemplating to organize an intensive dance workshop of 12-15 days during winter season.
Pertinent to mention here that, Sarang Rai who originally hails from Dehradun was one of the top 10 contestants of DID Season 6. He recently worked with Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan and also choreographed Bollywood songs ‘Milegi Milegi’ and ‘Kamaria’ of Stree movie. He also acted in ‘Jagga Jasoos’ with Ranbir Kapoor and featured in Tara from Satara (Sony Ad Shoot).
