LEH, Aug 22: Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC Leh, Sachin Kumar convened a meeting to review progress of PM Kissan Nidhi Yojna, in his office chamber today.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Leh, Moses Kunzang, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, Tehsider Leh, District HQ Officer, Nodal Officer PMKNY and official from NIC, Leh.
During the meeting, the ADDC Leh apprised the DC about the total number of identified farmers as beneficiaries excluding the farmers who are employed with Government. He said that the process is in progress with rectification of rejected cases and digital uploading of the present data. He informed that field work too will be soon completed.
The DC instructed the concerned officers to complete all kind requirements of PMKNY including field and paper works, verifications of targeted beneficiaries and clearance of FTO by September 5. He asked them to keep close coordination and communication in effective and timely conduct and completion of the scheme.
