JAMMU, July 19: Christian Fellowship Trust (CFT), Jammu distributed mementoes among the meritorious students of the Christian Community who have successfully passed their 10th and 12th board exams during the academic session 2022-2023 in a function organized at St. Peter’s Catholic Church Compound Jammu.
The event was focused on helping and encouraging the Christian Youth in particular and other youth in general with the objective to guide them to achieve a good career and achieve success in life. The event was organized under the guidance of Trust Chairman Father Kuriakose and President Rev. Vijay Kumar.
Harvinder Singh, Additional Commissioner Law and Order was the chief guest, Rimpy Ohri, Joint Commissioner Jammu Municipal Commissioner was the guest of honour whereas Ritu Choudhary Municipal Councilor ward number-7 was the special guest on the occasion.
Father Kuriakose said that the Christian Community formed a minuscule minority in J&K as compared to other communities, but its contribution in the fields of education, health and social service has been remarkable. The meritorious students who received mementoes in the function includes Priya Kandayar, Stuti Gill, Riya Sotra,Maizy Mattoo, Mania Khonjay, Melvin Khokher, Soloman Khokher, Miracle, Ryan Sotra, Kenneth Khokher,Bulla, Allen Peter (12 Class), Kokil Khokher, Janvi Teji, Kerredona Athwal,Angel, Sweet Angel, Alvies Sotra, Edison Mattoo, Joel Younus, Rehan Micheal, Ankush Gill, Maccolian Khokher, Enoch, Jessica, Anakha B.R., Anugrah and Mahatab Athwal (10 Class).
