JAMMU, Jan 22: A delegation of Pahari Development Forum today called on Chief General Manager of BSNL, J&K Circle and apprised him of the problem of poor telephone mobile services at Paddar.
The delegation, headed by Thakur Kartar Singh Rathore, chairman of the Forum and senior NC leader, apprised the CGM about non-availability of WLL, Fax and internet facilities at tehsil Paddar. They demanded that 8MB capacity of BSNL exchange at Atholi should be made properly functional and utilized fully.
The delegation also demanded to connect the left out and far flung villages of Paddar tehsil with BSNL connectivity by installing new mobile towers in the area.
The CGM assured to improve the BSNL services in the area at the earliest and informed that WLL, Fax and internet services will be started by March this year.
The delegation comprised of Gurdesh Sharma, Rishi Parihar, Rattan Lal, Sarpanch block Paddar, Majid Bichoo, Teshi Ram and others.
