DODA, Mar 27: Chain Singh brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir by clinching Gold medal in 50 Meters Rifle team event in the ongoing ISSF World Cup, being organised at New Delhi.
Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vikas Sharma greeted Ace shooter of Doda, Chain Singh for making J&K proud through phone call, today.
Speaking with media, the DC said that he is an asset for the country and an inspiration for the young generation to adopt sports as a profession.
Chain Singh, a resident of Chanser of Bhalessa, has won many titles during his several years long career. He has won more than 90 medals in national and international events which include 11 Gold medals, three Silver and four Bronze medals in international events. He had represented the country in Rio Olympics 2016 at Brazil and Commonwealth Games 2018, held at Australia.
