JAMMU, Oct 24: Bari Brahmana police arrested a chain snatcher here today.
As per police sources, a youth allegedly snatched gold chain of a lady namely Shreshtha Verma, wife of Kuldeep Verma of Channi Kartholi.
Acting swiftly, a police team from Bari Brahmana Police Station led by SHO Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal and locals chased the chain snatcher and nabbed him. The stolen gold chain was also recovered from his possession.
In this regard, a case under FIR number 130/14 under Section 382 RPC has been registered at police station Bari-Brahmana.
