SAMBA, Sept 2: Chandan Football Club triumphed over Hiranagar Football Club by 6-5 in a thrilling second match of the Thalora Premier League at Thalora Mandi Sports Ground, Samba. The teams were tied 2-2 at halftime. Hiranagar took the lead in the second half, but Chandan equalized in the final minute, forcing a penalty shootout. Chandan won by 3-2 on penalties, securing their spot in the tournament. Ex-Sarpanch Ravinder Singh Lavlu, the chief guest, praised the youth for organizing such events and encouraged continued support. Football coach Aman Sambyal and other notable figures attended, highlighting the local talent and commitment to sports development.
