KATHUA, Jan 21: Protesting against the power failure in their village, the irate residents of Chapki today blocked the link road near Chadwal.
The protesters while raising slogans against the PDD said they were facing power failure for last 12 days in their village and authorities have failed to restore the same.
Later the Naib Tehsildar and Chowki Officer Marheen visited the area and pacified the people asking them to lift the road blockade as power will re resumed by tomorrow. On this assurance the protestors dispersed.
