BISHNAH, Nov 14: Former Minister and senior Congress leader Gulchain Singh Charak today addressed a series of Jan Sampark Sabhas, organized by the Congress Party at villages Karyal Khurd, Rehal, Kothey Bakshi and Upper Fatwal to carry out the ensuing election campaign.
While speaking, Mr Charak once again repeated his commitment to serve people with honesty and dignity to mitigate their problems and assured them that things will be streamlined so that people may not suffer any more. He appealed to the people to vote and support in his favour to strengthen the hands of Congress Party which has always stood behind the masses for their development, prosperity and harmony.
Earlier, speaking on these occasions, a number of senior Congress leaders and prominent personalities of the villages stressed upon the people to vote in favour of Congress. They emphasized upon the villagers that voting in favour of Shri Gulchain Singh Charak, the party candidate for the Bishnah Constituency, means development of this area. The villagers of Karyal Khurd, Rehal, Kothey Bakshi and Upper Fatwal submitted their local problems including irregular supply of electricity and drinking water, poor condition of education institutions, insufficient accommodation, no heating arrangements in the class rooms, no proper irrigation distributary system, non-availability of para-medical staff and life saving drugs/equipment in the local dispensaries and inadequate transport system on the link roads etc.
Mr Charak called upon the people, especially the first timers to exercise their franchise positively. He further reiterated that it will be his endeavour to work for the development of the area. Efforts shall be generated to create special avenues for the youth to get due enrollment in the belt forces.
