R S Pura, Mar 24: Former Minister and general secretary J&K PCC R S Chib addressed series of meeting in Suchetgarh Assembly Constituency in favour of Madan Lal Sharma, Congress candidate for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency today. Mr. Chib in his address at Gulab Ghar Nai Basti appreciated the development schemes under taken & completed in the border areas of the State under Border Area Development Plan (BADP). Mr. Chib made special reference about the extensive work done and record number of schemes completed in Suchetgarh border constituency.
Mr Chib also highlighted the role of UPA Govt. headed by Dr. Manmohan Singh in sanctioning the adequate funds for completion of projects, under BADP. He added that Madan Lal Sharma, Congress candidate played a pivotal role for the success of this scheme.
Mr. Chib described Madan Lal Sharma a grass root leader & said that his contribution towards success of Centrally sponsored scheme cannot be overlooked. He made a special reference of development of border tourism in Suchetgarh sector at a cost of more than Rs 7 crore. The tourism project Suchetgarh has started attracting large of tourists which will enhance the economic condition of our poor farmers.
Mr. Chib appealed to all sections of society to vote for Madan Lal Sharma in order to enhance the development of this Border constituency. The meeting was attended by a large number of people coming from the Panchayat Halqas of Abtal, Flora and Suchetgarh.
