JAMMU, Dec 15: Minister for Youth Services and Sports, RS Chib today felicitated Bhanupratap of Jammu and Kashmir, who has secured gold medal for India in recently concluded 8th Senior Asian Kurash Championship held at Kochi in Kerala, recently.
The ace sportsperson who was accompanied by Dr Sandeep Singh and Saurav Chaudhary, apart from Rohit Gupta and Vikas Sharma as coaches and managers, was adjudged as best player of the tournament.
Mr Chib congratulated Bhanupratap on his success and said that it was a matter of great pride that the son of the soil has brought laurels at the International level. He further said that this achievement of Bhanupratap clearly shows that there is no dearth of talent in our State and proper training, guidance and motivation would help them to reach new heights.
