JAMMU, Sept 15: The State Government today framed State level Steering Committee and District level similar panel for the effective implementation of Blue Revolution in the State.
Chief secretary will be the chairman of the State Level Steering Committee, Administ-rative Secretary of Animal Husbandry & Fisheries department as Member Secretary while Secretaries- Agriculture Production Deptt, Rural Development Deptt; PHE, I&FC Deptt and Director Fisheries Department J&K, will be the members of the Steering Comm-ittee.
Deputy Commissioner will be the chairman of District Level Steering Committee, Assistant Director Fisheries Member Secretary while Assistant Com-missioner Development (ACD) the member. The purpose of the State and District Level Comm-ittees is to oversee the implementation of Blue Revolution, an official spokesman said.
