REASI, Jan 8: In a tragic incident, a five-year old child drowned in underground water tank at his house in Nai Basti, here today.
The deceased, namely Keshav, son of Mahesh Singh, was alone in the home while other family members had gone to neighbourhood when the mishap took place. The matter came into light when the family members returned and found body of the child floating in water tank.
Even as family members rushed the child to hospital, doctors declared him as brought dead.
