JAMMU, Aug 28: Chiryai Volleyball Club will take on Garhi Volleyball Club in the final of the ongoing Invitational Volleyball Championship, being organized by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Katra in the Synthetic court.
In today’s matches, Dr Arvind Kirwani and Amit Virmani, Deputy Chief Executive Officers of the Shrine Board were guests of Honour.
Earlier in the first semis, Chiryai Volleyball Club defeated Katra Volleyball Club by 2-0 and the score remained 25-19 and 25-17, whereas in the second semifinal, Garhi Volleyball Club smashed Salal Volleyball Club by 2-0 sets (26-24 and 25-22).
In the final of Tug-of-War, Salal club defeated Katra Club by 2-1 in a very thrilling and neck to neck contest.
The tournament is being supervised and conducted by Ashok Kumar, Director Sports, SMVDSB under the patronage of Ajeet Kumar Sahu CEO Shrine Board Katra.
All the matches were officiated by Kuldeep Sharma, Shashi Sharma and Manik Nargotra.
