Chopra to get ‘Glory of India Gold Medal’ award

JAMMU, Mar 13: India International Friendship Society has selected Mohinder Chopra for ‘Glory of India Gold Medal’ award to be presented to Chopra on March 28 at New Delhi.
A handout stated that Chopra has served as Independent Director in State Financial Corporations of the States of Punjab, Haryana and J&K for 40 years.
Chopra was also appointed as Vice President of Indian Red Cross Society (J&K Branch) by the late President of India, Shanker Dayal Sharma.
The ‘Glory of India Gold Medal’ award is given to persons who have rendered distinguished services in any field.
Chopra was also given Bharat Jyoti Award.
