JAMMU, Mar 26: City Boys CC and Abrar CC defeated their rivals convincingly to enter the Next round of the ongoing Jammu Premier League (JPL)-2 at GGM Science College Hostel Ground, here. The Tournament is being organized by Karwan-e-Hussaini social welfare Society. In the qualifying match played of Pool-B, City Boys Club defeated Udhampur Cricket Club by 86 runs. Batting first, City Boys Cricket Club scored a total of 176 runs. Zubair top scored with 42 runs. Ankan was the pick of the bowlers for Citys Boys Cricket Club, who took 4 important wickets. In reply, Udhampur Cricket Club got allout at 90 in 13 overs. Dalip Sin took 1Wicket for City Boys Cricket Club. Ankan Sharma was declared as man of the match for his superb bowling display 4Wkts for 16runs in 4 overs while Best fielder was adjudged toee Vishvesh Bali, and best batsman Zubair.
In another match of Pool-B , Abrar Cricket Club defeated Simula Club by 36 runs in an easy contest.For Abrar Cricket Club scored total of 145.Subam top Scored with 48 runs, . In reply,Simula centre Cricket Club got all out at 109 runs. shubam was picked as best batsman while man of the match was adjued as Amit for taking 5 wickets and best fielder was picked as Druv Mahajan.
The match was officiated by Madan Verma, Sanju and Santa as umpires, while Sonu Sharma was the scorer.
