POONCH, Mar 14: City Club and Jhullas Football Club got the better of their rivals to advance in the ongoing Ist Mufti Mohd Sayeed Football Tournament, being organized by District Football Association, under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association at Sports Stadiu, here.
Earlier, in the first match, City Club defeated Khlsa Club by 5-0 goals. Karanveer Luthra and Tejinder Singh netted 2 goals each, Mortaza scored one goal.
In another match, Jhullas Club defeated Chandak Club by 2-0 goals. Nadeem scored two goals.
The matches were officiated by Rajinder Singh, Kewal Krishan, Ashok Kumar, Jatinder Kumar, Mohinder Bali, Tarlochan Singh and Narinder Singh.
Dlip Kumar Luthra, former football player was the chief guest on the occasion.
