JAMMU, Apr 21: A delegation of J&K Civil Secretariat Non-Gazetted Employees Union called on the Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, here today.
The delegation was led by the newly-elected President of the Union, Ghulam Rasool Mir.
Hailing the Chief Minister for his bold initiatives to bring in transparency and accountability in State administration, the delegation promised to work for establishing a corruption free governance system, aimed at the sole objective of serving the people and working for the betterment of the State.
On the occasion, the delegation brought some problems being faced by the employees into the notice of Chief Minister. These demands include removal of pay anomalies, updating of service rules, safe custody of GP records, establishment of moving school, relaxation in availing loan facilities, enhancement in Temporary Move TA/Allowance and permanent redressal of residential accommodation problems faced by the employees.
Mufti Sayeed assured the delegation that he will get the issues raised by the Union examined on a fast-track basis.
General Secretary of the Union, Thana Ji Bhat, Publicity Secretary, G. N. Tantray and President, Low Paid Employees, Maqbool Hussain, also attended the meeting.
