NEW DELHI, Sept 19:
Coalgate scam case will now be heard by a new bench as Chief Justice R M Lodha is to retire on September 27.
The Centre, earlier, informed the court that it will submit a status report regarding hawala operator Moin Qureshi’s alleged frequent meetings with CBI chief Ranjit Sinha at his official residence.
The bench of Justices Madan B Lokur and Kurian Joseph adjourned the hearing for three weeks. The next hearing in the case will now be in October after Dussehra vacations. (UNI)
