Clash triggers between wrestlers in Kathua

Kathua, Jan 10: A clash triggered between two groups of wrestlers during a Dangal event at Kathua here today in which reportedly four to five persons received minor injuries.
As per reports two separate groups of wrestlers drawn from Punjab and locals started pelting stones on each other over a dispute during a wrestling event at Kathera area of Kathua district.
The wrestler committee of Kathera organized an annual Dangal where a large number of Wrestlers from Punjab and local areas were present to witness the Dangal. During the wrestling some tiffs were raised over the wrestling rules and soon heated exchange took an ugly turn.
Reports said both groups started stone pelting on each other resulting in four to five people receiving minor injuries and damage to motorbikes and cars. However the situation was controlled after police rushed to the spot along with a senior officer.  Reports said a similar kind of dispute also taken place last year during Dangal between both groups of wrestlers.
