JAMMU, Nov 12: A class 12th student allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Purana Pind area, falling under the jurisdiction of RS Pura police station.
As per police sources, a class 12th student identified as Onkar Singh, son of Atma Singh, a resident of Purana Pind, RS Pura allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence.
Finding him hanging, family members informed the police and the body was shifted to RS Pura Hospital, where after conducting autopsy, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
RS Pura police has initiated inquest proceedings in this regard.
