JAMMU, July 5: All Departments Clerical Staff Association, Jammu province has resolved to provide full support to the strike call given by Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) on July 8.
In a meeting of the clerical body held under the chairmanship of Ravi Singh Bhau, the members unanimously resolved to endorse the strike call given by the JCC leadership by Mohd Gafoor Dar, Khursheed Alam and others and appealed to the cadre to observe complete ‘Kaam Chhor Hartal’ on this day. They regretted that State Government has failed to honour the agreement reached between the representatives of the employees and the Government on 15-9-2011. The employees are now being forced by the Government to come out on the roads. They also welcomed the decision of the Civil Secretariat Employees (N-G) Union led by Rauf Ahmed Bhat to join the strike. Sukhbir Singh, Anil Mehta, Ravi Kumar Sharma, Yash Paul Sharma, Hamid Hussain Ravinder Singh, J R Sagar, Ravi Razdan and others were also present.
