JAMMU, Oct 24: To discuss their long pending demands, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association held a joint meeting and urged the Government to address their long pending concerns.
Their demands pertained to Removal of pay anomalies; DPC in all departments; Implementation of 7th Pay Commission on the pattern of Central Government employees; increase in Medical Allowance; Dislocation Allowance; Regularisation of daily wagers/dhoc/ contractual employees and Anganwari workers, helpers as also ASHA workers.
The representatives also condemned lathicharge on peacefully agitating casual labourers of Government Medical College and Associated hospitals including Super-specialty hospital and appealed the Government to release their pending wages at the earliest.
