Clerks’ Association for removal of pay anomalies

JAMMU, July 21: Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association has urged the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to issue immediate instructions to the concerned authorities for removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre.
In a meeting of the Association held under the presidium of its chairman, Anil Mehta, general secretary, Sukhbir Singh and senior vice-president, Ravi Kumar, the speakers said that State Government has already assured that the pay anomalies of clerical cadre will be removed but till date no orders has been issued in this regard.
The leaders criticized the State Government for its callous, anti clerical cadre and the step motherly attitude. They further criticized the State Government for its criminal silence over the already agreed demands of the clerical cadre and commitment made with their leadership through various agreements.
They appealed Chief Minister to intervene personally and issue necessary instructions to the concern authorities for issuance of orders for removal of the pay anomaly as agreed in the meeting held between JCC and Government representatives.
