JAMMU, May 13: The Inter School Judo Championship came to an end today at G.D Goenka Public School, Jammu governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust.
After the highly competitive bouts, the medal ceremony was held today to felicitate the judokas from various schools.
The referees namely Suraj Bhan Singh, Vikas Dogra, Arshi Nad and Ritika Salathia (all Senior Referees/ Judo Coaches of J&K Sports Council) were felicitated by the chief guest.
The Director of G.D Goenka Public School, Jammu Sanya Bansal and the Principal Dr R P Singh were present on the occasion.
The overall winner’s trophy was bagged by the host school with 143 points in all categories.
The first runner-up for the competition was SOS Hewrmann School with 70 points in all categories.
The best judoka in female section was awarded to Anisha Sopolia of G.D Goenka Public School and the best judoka in boys section was awarded to Sanchit Razdhan of GD Goenka Public School, Jammu.
